Job Description:

Director, Agency Development is responsible for relationships with our largest agency customers. They own the Twitch /Agency HoldCo relationship at a senior level, their responsibility is to grow the business, manage and deepen relationships with key agency executives, drive advocacy for Twitch and set the strategic direction of the partnership.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop the HoldCo agency strategy to deliver long-term and commercially viable partnerships.

  • Achieve revenue targets by facilitating agency and advertiser relations and help create a frictionless sales operation.

  • Build and foster long-term senior executive relationships with HoldCo agency decision makers – mapping agency structures to create clear engagement plans.

  • Collaborate with the entire sales organisation to drive agency and advertiser adoption

  • Track agency revenue performance – diving deep on opportunities and threats to investment.

  • Act as the escalation point for all agency HoldCo questions of Twitch – Pricing & Yield/Marketing/Product/Programmatic.

  • Increase penetration of the total advertiser universe in each agency.

  • Increase advocacy from Agency HoldCo decision makers and influencers - shifting the perception of Twitch as a gaming service to a Brand Building partner

  • Share knowledge and help educate direct/indirect sales teams to secure investment and achieve revenue goals.

  • Keep current with industry changes and identify opportunities which can be used to increase revenue and promote value for our partners.

  • Deploy Twitch education sessions and e-learning programmes to all relevant HoldCo stakeholders.

  • Provide data and insights for MBR/QBR processes.

A day in the life

  • Agency Development forges strategic partnerships with agencies and advertisers to accelerate the adoption of Twitch. The remit of the Director, Agency Development is to enable agencies and brands to extend campaigns beyond discretionary budget tests or one time Brand Partnerships Studio (BPS) executions and move toward longer-term, always-on, strategies that deliver brands the full value of Twitch and its audience.

About the team

We want to disrupt the video marketplace, changing the way agencies and brands think about Twitch. Our focus is threefold: 1) Advertisers no longer rely on passive advertising experiences; recognising the value of our highly engaged community. 2) Our audience is no longer seen as niche - broadening advertiser category share. 3) Our customers focus on long-term strategic partnerships rather than one-offs


Experience building new customer relationships · B2B sales experience · Strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data · Strong digital advertising experience · Experience negotiating contracts / agreements · Bachelor's degree or equivalent


Prior experience in agency development at a major media company · Experience in media sales, marketing, or business development · Proven track record of delivering results and driving aggressive revenue growth · Ability to successfully engage at C-Level within agencies and agency group ·
